CTV Seazip 5 is a swift and manoeuvrable offshore service vessel which can be deployed in Operations & Maintenance activities required for offshore wind turbine parks and oil and gas installations. She was designed and built by the Dutch Damen Shipyards (type DFCS 2610) and has been part of the JR Shipping/SeaZip fleet since 2015. SeaZip 5 was primarily designed for the transport of crew, but she is also suitable for transporting light freight, conducting hydrographic research and providing support in case of diving activities.

This aluminium catamaran is 26.30 metres long and fitted with a twin axe bow, according to the patented ‘Twin Axe concept’. SeaZip 5 can accommodate 12 passengers. Competitive advantages are: high comfort level, even in robust conditions on the open sea; high speed, a high level of fuel efficiency and maximum reliability in the event of strenuous services. The vessel operates under class (Bureau Veritas).
