MV Emotion, a Baltic Max feeder vessel, has been operated by JR Shipping Group since 2008.
The Emotion was built by the German Peene Werft yard and was the first vessel from the PW-1,400 Baltic Max container feeders series. A notable competitive advantage is her shallow draught in proportion to her large capacity, which enables her to pass through the Kiel Canal when fully loaded. Because she has the highest ice class, the Emotion can be put to use in Northern Europe and the Baltic both in winter and in summer. A training ship for maritime students, the Emotion boasts additional facilities.
